Customer data	Subscriber identity, properties and preferences are stored; subscribers can be created ahead of time or when a workflow is triggered.	No customer database to import or sync. Notifizz keeps only what sending requires (identifiers, addresses, preferences, delivery history); everything else is read from your systems when the message is built.
Channels	In-app Inbox, email, SMS, mobile and web push, and chat (such as Slack, Microsoft Teams, WhatsApp Business and Discord) through connected providers.	Email and Notification Center are available. Web push is in closed beta and Intercom in pilot; SMS and WhatsApp are coming soon.

Hosting and privacy	Self-hosting keeps data on your infrastructure; Novu Cloud stores data in the region chosen at sign-up: US (Virginia) or EU (Frankfurt) on every plan, more regions on Enterprise.	Hosted in the EU (France). US subprocessors: Cloudflare (network), Postmark (email delivery) and Anthropic (AI). The AI designs campaigns from the structure of your events, never their values; a test run you ask it to debug is shared with it. No contact database sync. Suppressed addresses are kept as keyed hashes.

Can Notifizz replace Novu for our team?

Start with your required channels and workflow. Notifizz brings product and transactional campaigns together around live data and human review; marketing broadcasts are in closed beta. Novu may fit better where open source, self-hosting or its channel coverage are essential. A demo with your own use case makes the trade-offs concrete.

What if self-hosting is a requirement?

Novu is the relevant option when you need to host and operate the notification platform yourself. Notifizz is a managed service hosted in the EU, with live enrichment and no customer contact database to synchronize.

What changes for our customer data?

Notifizz reads the data each message needs from your systems, so there is no second contact database to keep in sync. Like Novu, Notifizz acts as a processor. The platform is hosted in the EU (France); Cloudflare (network and security in front of our services), Postmark (email delivery) and Anthropic (AI campaign design) are US subprocessors.
